Filter Contacts helps you narrow down the contact list on the Contacts screen. The current interface supports searching by name, sorting by column, and selecting contacts with checkboxes.

Search contacts by name

Open the Contacts page

Go to Contacts from the left menu.

Enter the contact name

Click the search box and type the name of the contact you want to find.

Review the results

Check that the list has been narrowed down and open the correct contact.

Sort the list by column

You can sort the list using the columns currently shown in the table, such as Name, Last Read, or Created.

Choose the column to sort

Click the column header you want to sort on in the Contacts table.

Choose the display order

In the sort menu, choose Asc or Desc.

Check the updated list

Confirm that the list is now sorted in the expected order.

Select multiple contacts

Narrow the list first

Use the search box or sorting to bring the correct contact group to the top of the list.

Tick the checkboxes

Tick the checkbox at the start of each contact row you want to select.

Review the selected count

Check how many contacts are selected before continuing.
